Overview
The URWERK UR-210 Red Gold presents one of the most expressive executions of the UR-210 platform. Introduced in 2013 and limited to 75 pieces, this configuration combines the mechanical intensity of the UR-210 with the warmth and density of 18k 5N red gold.
Within the UR-210 family, this version stands apart for its material presence. The red gold case softens the aggressive architecture of the design while reinforcing its sculptural qualities.
This example is presented in as new condition, fully serviced and part of the URWERK Pre-Owned collection.
Satellite Time and Retrograde Minutes
At the centre of the UR-210 is one of URWERK’s most advanced complications.
Time is displayed through a satellite hour system combined with a retrograde minute indication. A large three dimensional minute hand frames the active hour satellite as it travels across a 120 degree arc.
The motion is smooth and continuous until the end of the cycle. At the 59th minute, the mechanism releases and the hand returns instantly to zero, completing the transition in a fraction of a second before aligning with the next hour satellite.
This sudden return introduces a mechanical contrast to the otherwise fluid display, defining the identity of the UR-210.
Mechanical Architecture
The retrograde system is built around a highly engineered structure:
• a central axis mounted in ruby bearings for stability
• a cylindrical spring providing the energy required for the retrograde return
• a lightweight aluminium minute hand structure, precisely machined and counterbalanced
• a double star cam regulating the trajectory and release of the retrograde mechanism
These components operate together to ensure both precision and durability, while maintaining the visual clarity of the display.
Case and Material
The case is crafted in 18k 5N red gold, offering a distinct contrast to the technical nature of the movement.
The density of the material introduces a different tactile experience, while the warm tone interacts with the geometry of the case to create depth and variation in light.
The result is a balance between mechanical complexity and material presence.
Turbine Winding Regulation
Turning the watch over reveals URWERK’s turbine assisted winding system.
Visible through a sapphire aperture, the turbine regulates the speed of the automatic rotor using air resistance. The wearer can adjust the winding behaviour through selectable modes:
• full winding for maximum efficiency
• reduced mode to limit stress on the movement
• stop mode, disabling the rotor entirely
This system allows the watch to adapt to different levels of activity while protecting the movement over time.

Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays.
