Overview
The URWERK UR-110 Torpedo Red Gold introduces a different dimension to the UR-110 platform. Limited to 55 pieces, it combines the asymmetrical architecture of the model with the weight and warmth of 18k 5N red gold.
Awarded the GPHG Best Design Watch Prize in 2011, the UR-110 remains one of URWERK’s defining references. The red gold execution completes the collection, bringing material depth to an otherwise technical construction.
This example is presented in as new condition, fully serviced and part of the URWERK Pre-Owned collection.
Case and Material
The case combines red gold and titanium, balancing density with structural lightness.
The 5N red gold bezel introduces a warmer tone, softening the angular geometry of the case while maintaining its architectural presence. In contrast, the titanium elements preserve the technical character of the watch.
Torpedo Satellite Display
Time is displayed through URWERK’s signature satellite complication, reconfigured for the UR-110.
Three hour satellites travel along a vertically arced minute track positioned on the right side of the case. Each satellite carries an arrow shaped indicator, giving rise to the “Torpedo” name.
A planetary gearing system maintains alignment as the satellites rotate, ensuring precision as each takes its turn across the 0 to 60 minute scale.
Mechanical Architecture
The display is structured across multiple layers:
• a central carousel providing balance and stability
• planetary gearing maintaining parallel rotation
• counter rotating hour modules integrating hour display, minute indication, and counterbalance
These elements operate together to create a controlled and continuous flow of time.
Dial Indications
Integrated within the dial are additional displays:
• small seconds
• day and night indicator
• oil change service indicator
These indications are positioned within the architecture of the dial, supporting the primary time display without distraction.
Twin Turbine Regulation
On the caseback, the UR-110 features twin turbines regulating the automatic winding system.
Using air resistance, the turbines control rotor speed and reduce mechanical stress. This system contributes to both durability and long term stability.
Pre-Owned
This example has undergone full inspection and servicing by URWERK watchmakers.

Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays.
