Overview
The URWERK UR-105 CT Iron reflects a shift in the UR-105 lineage toward a more architectural and enclosed form. Introduced in 2017 during URWERK’s twentieth anniversary, this reference draws on early impressions that shaped the brand’s visual language.
Limited to 50 pieces, the CT Iron combines industrial materiality with a case construction that conceals and reveals the mechanism in equal measure.
Case and Inspiration
The case is defined by its octagonal structure and longitudinal grooves, giving it a strong and deliberate geometry.
Its proportions and surfaces reflect an urban influence, with references to vertical structures and layered forms. The polished upper section contrasts with the darker body, creating depth while maintaining a restrained overall presence.
The result is a case that feels compact in hand, with a clear sense of weight and balance.
Protective Cover and Display
The UR-105 CT introduces a hinged cover system, allowing the wearer to choose between concealment and exposure.
Sliding the catch releases the upper section, revealing the satellite display beneath. This interaction transforms the watch from a closed object into an open mechanical structure.
Satellite Time Display
Time is indicated through an openworked satellite carousel.
Four satellites, each carrying three hour numerals, rotate across the minute track. As each passes the scale, it provides a combined analogue and digital reading of the time.
The open construction allows a clearer view into the mechanism, emphasising both motion and structure.
Dial Indications
Alongside the satellite display, the UR-105 CT integrates additional indications:
• power reserve indicator
• digital seconds display
The seconds are presented in a lightweight openworked format, engineered to minimise mass while maintaining legibility.
Turbine Regulated Winding
Turning the watch over reveals the twin turbine system, regulating the automatic winding.
A selector lever allows adjustment of the winding behaviour:
• full mode for maximum winding efficiency
• reduced mode to moderate rotor speed
• stop mode to disengage automatic winding
This system protects the movement by controlling the forces applied during wear.
Position in the Collection
The UR-105 CT represents a more enclosed evolution of the UR-105, contrasting with earlier open dial executions.
The Iron version emphasises material strength and structural clarity, offering a different expression of the same underlying complication.

Delivery Options
Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays. Please allow additional time, if ordering on or near public holidays or weekends. Delivery will commence once payment is secured depending on payment type.

Insurance
Your purchase is insured whilst in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
