Overview
The URWERK UR-111C Black Cobra presents a different approach to time within the URWERK collection. Instead of orbiting satellites, time is displayed across a linear axis, using rotating cylinders and fibre optics to project hours and minutes through horizontal apertures.
Limited to 25 pieces, the Black Cobra focuses on clarity and mechanical reinterpretation, where the complexity sits beneath a restrained and highly legible display.
Case
The case is crafted from titanium and finished with a black DLC coating.
Elongated in form, it sits low across the wrist with a strong horizontal profile. The geometry is defined by sharp transitions and flat surfaces, allowing light to be absorbed rather than reflected. The result is a case that feels controlled and architectural in its execution.
Linear Time Display
The UR-111C replaces the traditional dial with a linear display system.
Hours and minutes are indicated through two horizontal apertures, driven by rotating cylinders. Fibre optic elements guide the light, ensuring legibility while maintaining a fully mechanical construction.
This approach offers a direct and precise reading of time, while remaining consistent with URWERK’s philosophy of alternative display systems.
Interaction
There is no conventional crown.
Instead, two integrated rollers are positioned along the case. One is dedicated to winding the movement, the other to setting the time. This system creates a more tactile interaction, changing how the watch is handled and engaged with on a daily basis.
Movement
The watch is powered by a manually wound URWERK calibre, developed specifically for the linear time display.
The movement translates rotational energy into a horizontal indication, requiring a distinct mechanical architecture. The focus remains on precision, durability, and clarity of display.

The Black Cobra is defined by its linearity.
From the display to the case profile, every element follows a horizontal logic. The black DLC finish reinforces this approach, reducing visual distraction and allowing proportion and engineering to define the watch.

This example has undergone full inspection and regulation by URWERK watchmakers and is presented in excellent condition.

Delivery Options
Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays. Please allow additional time, if ordering on or near public holidays or weekends. Delivery will commence once payment is secured depending on payment type.
Important Information
Please check that the shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect orders once they're in transit, and we are unable to deliver to PO box numbers.
Before we can despatch your purchase, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. Please ensure that your billing address matches that kept on record with your card issuer. We will do our best to minimise any delay. Occasionally we may need to contact you to confirm additional security details before shipping your order.
Insurance
Your purchase is insured whilst in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you do not receive the goods in person (i.e. for gift orders or where an item has been signed for by a concierge/reception desk) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.
The Buyer is required to inspect the Products upon delivery. Any defects must be reported without delay and no later than seven (7) days from receipt.
Returns of watches can only be for defects upon delivery.
