Overview
The URWERK UR-105 TA Black Orange introduces a more expressive interpretation of the UR-105 platform. Limited to 100 pieces, this edition combines the architectural structure of the Knight series with a vivid use of colour.
The contrast between the matte black case and the bright orange accents creates a distinctive visual identity. The result is a watch that remains rooted in URWERK’s mechanical language while introducing a more immediate and dynamic presence.
Case and Design
The UR-105 TA is defined by its protective upper case, inspired by the form of a shield.
Finished in black, the case frames the satellite display beneath while reinforcing the sculptural quality of the design. The orange accents introduce depth and contrast, drawing attention to the moving elements of the display.
The balance between dark surfaces and bright detail gives the watch a strong visual rhythm without compromising its technical character.
Satellite Time Display
Time is displayed through URWERK’s signature wandering satellite complication.
Four hour satellites rotate beneath a guilloché black PEEK canopy, each emerging in sequence as it travels across the minute track. The active satellite indicates the current hour and minutes before rotating away to continue its orbit.
The satellite carousel is constructed in ARCAP, treated with ruthenium and finished through micro bead blasting. Much of this structure remains hidden, allowing the visible elements to maintain a clean and controlled appearance.
Mechanical Architecture
At the centre of the system is the satellite carousel, responsible for the precise movement of the hour modules.
The mechanism operates with a high level of precision, maintaining alignment and timing as each satellite moves across the dial. The result is a display that appears fluid while relying on complex underlying engineering.
Turbine Automatic System
The designation TA refers to Turbine Automatic.
On the caseback, the UR-105 TA features dual air turbines that regulate the winding of the automatic movement. These turbines are finished with bead blasting and treated for a consistent black appearance.
A selector allows the wearer to adjust the winding behaviour:
• full winding for maximum efficiency
• reduced winding to limit tension on the mainspring
• stop mode, disabling the rotor and allowing manual winding
This system protects the movement while adapting to different levels of activity.
Craftsmanship
The UR-105 TA reflects URWERK’s combination of precision machining and hand finishing.
From the construction of the satellite carousel to the finishing of the case and components, each detail contributes to the overall expression of the watch. Under magnification, the finishing reveals the level of attention applied throughout the movement and case architecture.

Watches will be shipped using the best courier service based on your location. Please note, deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays or Sundays. Insurance
